Day 9 Watercolor Card Class

I went off on my own with this one and decided instead of doing stacked packages I would free hand a cupcake stand and banner.

I love how it turned out. Now I want to make more of them. I used Stampin' Up ink pads as watercolor, the picture doesn't show that they are vanilla with pink frosting. The inks I used are Pretty In Pink, Barely Banana, I added Lindy's Pearlescent to Blue Bliss on the banner and to Chocolate Chip for the table. The inks and Lindy's really mixed nicely.

Off tomorrow and I need to get a few things done, mail packages, finish up some projects for people, so I won't be posting pics tomorrow, well maybe just 1 : )

P.S. I decided to post 2 other cards from today's class.  The Celebrate card was to use your handwriting and the tree was free hand water coloring, which I loved because all it was, was splattering!

  1. OMStars, Johnna -- way to rock the watercolour card class techniques!! I adore that cupcake tree -- papa is a cupcake lover. ;-) (((hugs)))

    1. Thank you Von, I had fun working with water colors I had never really did too much except backgrounds.
